Former FC ROBO Queens captain and current coach, Ndubisi Esther, has completed the FIFA Capacity-Building Programme for Women Football Administrators, which came to an end on Sunday in Abuja.
The three-day programme, organised by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in partnership with FIFA, brought together women involved in football administration from across Nigeria. The initiative was aimed at improving leadership and administrative standards within the women's game.
Participants were taken through several key areas of football administration, including governance, competition management, safeguarding, leadership, strategic planning, and marketing. The sessions also gave attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from experienced football administrators.
For FC ROBO, Esther's participation is another reflection of the club's commitment to growth beyond the pitch. Having served the club as captain before moving into coaching, she continues to play an important role in its development.
The knowledge gained from the programme is expected to benefit both Esther in her current role and FC ROBO as the club continues to strengthen its technical and administrative structure.
The FIFA-backed initiative is one of several efforts to empower more women to take up leadership positions in football and contribute to the continued progress of the women's game in Nigeria.
